This page explains what cookies and similar technologies are used on kairos-wines.com, who sets them, and what they do. It complements our Privacy Policy.

What are cookies?

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device. Cookies are widely used to make sites work, to remember preferences, and to gather anonymous information about how a site is used.

How we approach cookies

We try to set as few cookies as possible. We do not set marketing cookies, profiling cookies, advertising trackers, or social media pixels. The only optional cookies we use are anonymous analytics cookies that help us understand which pages people visit. You decide whether to allow these; the default is off.

The compliance pages reached by scanning a QR code on a Kairos bottle (URLs starting with /label/) never set cookies, never load third-party scripts, and never run analytics — in any circumstances. This is required by EU food information regulation and is enforced by the site's architecture.

Cookies we use

Strictly necessary

One cookie, set by us, no opt-in required:

Optional — analytics

Set only if you accept analytics via the cookie banner. Provided by Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager.

These cookies are anonymous. They do not contain your name, email, or any other personally identifying information. IP addresses are truncated by Google before storage and we do not enable any cross-site tracking features.

Your choices

On your first visit, we show a banner asking whether you accept analytics cookies. You can:

  • Accept — analytics cookies are set
  • Decline — no analytics cookies are set, and any previously set are deleted
  • Choose what to allow — granular control per category

You can change your mind at any time:

Browser controls

You can also block or delete cookies through your browser's settings. Doing so will not break this site, though you may need to dismiss the cookie banner on each visit if your browser is set to clear all cookies on close. Most browsers have a "Do Not Track" setting which we honour by default.

Changes to this policy

If we add new services that set cookies, we will update this policy, reset your consent state, and ask you to choose again on your next visit. The current version is always the one published here.
